Best Suited For:
Miniature breeds and toy-sized dogs, along with Yorkies, Bichon, Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Silky’s, Shih-tzus, Rat-terriers, small dachshunds and pugs.
Although the extra-small harness has slightly fewer adjustments than the four larger sizes — it can still be articulated to your dog’s specific needs.
The small harness covers a broad range of dogs within the range of 10-25 pounds.
It is our most recent addition to our harnesses but can be very helpful in maneuvering all small breeds of dogs and also some larger cats!
Select a dog harness size based on your dog’s weight first, then take measurements for accuracy. If your dog’s weight is on the cusp of our dog harness sizes, we recommend sizing down.

The Help 'Em Up Harness is machine-washable with mild detergent. Set to delicate cycle and air dry for best results.
This harness is only available in conventional style Hip Lift.

Game changer!
I have an old Sammy with severe arthritis and it helped us get through till he really wasn’t able to walk. Appreciated the extra time I had with my Sammy.
We had purchased another harness that was made for hiking that was nice but not quite what we were looking for. When our dog developed neck pain in addition to a back lesion that made him more ataxic, we knew we had to try something different. It’s perfectly comfortable for all day wear in the summer and does exactly what it says it will by providing maximal support when picking up your pet to go up and down the stairs. I ordered this harness in preparation for my dog's TPLO surgery. To be honest I wasn't really sure if we'd need it - she had surgery for the same injury on her other leg a few years ago. That was a long recovery, but she was able to walk out of the hospital the day after surgery and a support sling was all we needed during that recovery time.
I am so thankful we had the Help 'Em Up harness with us when we went to pick her up this time! For the first 1.5 days she couldn't stand up at all much less walk or support own weight. The next 2 days she couldn't go from sitting to standing on her own. I honestly don't know what we would have done without this harness and the hip lift! It had been a complete game changer - less traumatic for her and us to be able to help her stand, support her weight and lift her when needed! She's a big girl and this also saved our backs! I truly can't say enough positive things about it. She's now able to stand up without help and walk (slowly), but I still put the harness on her to help stabilize her or be there to support some of her weight if needed.
I also somehow ordered the wrong size and hip lift style and the exchange was very easy and fast! And I appreciate the military discount!
