Hip-lifts should not be worn or used separately, without a front shoulder harness to connect to and be secure for safety purposes. The front shoulder dog harness is available separately as a comfortable walking harness, with a handle that provides a convenient grip and to guide your dog. Both of my dogs had TPLO repair surgeries. This harness was a life saver for recovery. One of my dogs is 125 lbs and this made the recovery process for us so easy. Can't say enough good things about this set of harnesses.
My dog has a nerve shealth tumor attached to her spine and it affects her mobility. Her physical therapist suggested we get the front harness and the hip harness. This has made such a big difference in her mobility, she is more comfortable and confident and falls less since I’m supporting her with the handles. I would also recommend the 2 pair leash. The help ‘em up harness has been crucial in my dog’s recovery from total hip replacement. The original one I purchased had a buckle that cracked one night when I took the harness off at bedtime. I sent a message into customer support. The next day I was emailing back and forth with customer support, as they wanted images of the damage. They quickly reviewed the images and set up a replacement that was overnighted to us. We literally received it around 9am the day after sending photos to customer support. They truly back their product and provided responsive, super helpful support to us when we needed it. I can’t say enough how happy we are with the harness and the company itself. THANK YOU!!!!
The harnesses work great and really help with assisting my Corgi!!
Sadly my dog Jag passed away before my harness arrived. I chose to keep it however for future pups who may need it.
