Sold as a pair, the Help ‘Em Up Walking Loop Handles act like a sling and can be clipped onto the harness in a variety of ways for walking support and where your dog needs it most.
Choose your size based on the size of the harness. The walking loop handles attach to the D-ring connectors on the harness. They are soft, flexible and easily adjustable to help you add some extra support or leverage when lifting or walking the dog with the harness on. They can be positioned in a variety of ways – vertically from front to back supporting the whole body, or horizontally from side-to-side supporting the front shoulders or rear hips.

I bought the harness because my senior German Shepherd, Gus (12 years old, 83 lbs), was diagnosed with advanced arthritis and degenerative myelopathy (spinal cord disease), which was causing paralysis in his hind end. The harness was a very helpful tool, allowing me to take him on short walks, help him up and down stairs, and assist when he stood up from a lying position. Unfortunately, I had to put him to sleep, but without the harness I would never have been able to give him some good days, especially at the end, doing all the things he loved. I donated the harness to his vet office to give to someone who may not be able to afford such an amazing option.

Awkward, complicated to setup, but helps a bit
Our 15 year old beagle has trouble walking as his right front leg is lame, and his back legs are weak. The harness with front and rear help does help a bit. Straps could be more light weight - he is only 20 pounds.

A Game Changer!!!
We were skeptical at first, having already tried countless harnesses that failed our 13-year-old Golden Retriever, Kelsey. For most of her senior years, getting her into the car has been a stressful ordeal that left all of us completely exhausted. Thankfully, I stumbled across this online one day and showed it to my husband. We figured it was worth a shot. My super senior 18 year old dog Tito mobility challenged, my best friend who has a senior dog recommended the help em up harness along with the loop handles everything together works extremely well. Tito has his mobility back this amazing device is used daily its a true source of independence for my dog who is able to walk with me assisting him as needed. A Game Changer
Without these straps,I don’t think our backs would have survived our constant walks with our miniature poodle. They are well made and a much needed addition to the most amazing harness we previously purchased. They are worth every penny and now that they don’t make pennies anymore, they are worth even more.
