Extra Large U-Band Hip Lift
This was recommended to me from my vet! I tried many other cheaper harnesses, but ended up sending them back because they simply didn't work. The Helpemup does exactly what it's designed to do! My dachshund was diagnosed with IVDD and has lost use of his back legs. This harness has allowed us to continue to take him out and walk without putting to much pressure on his front legs. The vet can also use it when giving my dog therapy. I would definitely have given 5 stars, but it takes awhile to take out on and which I hope gets easier in time.
If your dog is having knee surgery, this harness is a must! We leave it on so he has extra help whatever time of day. He doesn’t seem overly bothered by it either.
It seems to run big, but well eventually take advantage of the ability to cut the straps to make them shorter.
It was a perfect fit. It does the job needed and it made it easier for me to lift/walk my 18 year-old dog.
This harness seems to have given our 16 year old husky a little more pep in her step. We got this because we wanted something that would let us support her weakening hip/back. She drags both of her back paws when she walks. She had a hard time holding herself up to ****. With this we can give her support when she needs it. We unhook the back of the loop handle and use it like a leash when she has finished her business. We’ve only been using it for a week now. Kinda a pain to put on/off…she gets impatient! Overall we’re happy I think!
